We begin with an exceptional gemstone — studying its mineral composition, its geological origin, its optical character, its rarity within the Earth's geological record. Only once we understand the stone completely does the question of jewellery arise. The setting, the design, the metalwork — these exist to honour the stone, never to overshadow it.
This is not simply a different sequence. It is a fundamentally different philosophy — one built on the conviction that gemstones are not accessories. They are natural phenomena of extraordinary rarity, formed across millions of years, deserving of expert understanding before they ever become personal adornment.

If jewellery is desired, the design process begins from the stone outward. Master craftspeople create a setting that serves the gemstone's character exclusively.
